
TEACHING LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICERS
In addition to her distinguished career trial work, Angela has devoted an equal amount of time and energy to training police and prosecutors on a local, state and national basis.
Police Officer Training
Instructor, Northeast Florida Criminal Justice Training Center - Florida Community College at Jacksonville. Since 1982 Angela has taught classes at the Police Academy, including the 40 hour Criminal Law Block and the 40 hour Courtroom Demeanor and Testimony Block.
Instructor, Institute of Police Technology and Management (IPTM) - University of North Florida. Angela has instructed law enforcement officers from all over the country in the area of Interviews and Interrogation. She co-developed a course on Case Preparation for Major Felony Cases and did two days of instruction for the first seminar in Bradenton, Florida in February of 2002.
Instructor, Florida Police Corps- Angela also taught in a specialized academy for police cadets in the areas of Search and Seizure, Interviews and Interrogations, Laws of Arrest and Courtroom Demeanor.
Angela’s commitment to training law enforcement officers in order to help them make better cases is also evident by her participation over the years in law enforcement training such as:
